In his Naval Career, Admiral White was qualified flying the A7E Corsair, the A-4 Skyhawk and the F/A-18  Hornet; he attended the Navy Fighter Weapons School "TOPGUN" and was designated an Adversary Instructor.  His service includes:  NATO headquarters, Naples, Italy; U.S. Navy Headquarters, London, England; Operational F-18 Command of the VFA 113 Stingers; the  Pentagon in Washington, CNO CINC Liaison Division; Nuclear Propulsion Training; Executive Officer USS GEORGE WASHINGTON with  combat operations against Iraq; Commanding Officer, USS ARCTIC providing logistics for the Second/Sixth/Fifth Fleets, Maritime Intercept  Operations, enforcing United Nations Sanctions and on September 11th, 2001 was the first warship on station as part of the terrorist attack  response; Chief of Staff, Commander Second Fleet/Striking Fleet Atlantic; Command of USS GEORGE WASHINGTON, leading Partnership  of the Americas, and Dry-docking Phased Incremental Availabilities; again reported to Washington, DC as Director, Total Force Manpower  Requirements, Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations, Comprehensive Casualty Care; and his final position as Commander,  Strike Force Training Atlantic leading the training, assessment and certification of deploying Naval Forces.
Rear Admiral (Retired) Garry R. White is Vice Chairman of the Board of Busek Incorporated, an  advanced Space Propulsion and Systems company.  In this capacity he works with Busek’s leadership to  oversee the strategy and operation of Busek's research, development, testing and manufacturing.  This  includes, but is not limited to, Space Propulsion systems, Flight Hardware, Electronics and associated  applications.   In addition to his role with Busek, he is President of Excelsior Enterprises, a diverse consulting and  investment firm.  In this capacity he draws on his years of experience as a corporate executive and  military leader to benefit Executive and Corporate Clients.  Previously, as Global General Manager of  Terex Utilities, he gained expertise leading the Strategy Development, Personnel Management, Product  Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and Profit & Loss Management of an  international utility construction equipment business.
