BUSEK LEADERSHIPEric Ehrbar - Director, Electronics Mr. Ehrbar joined Busek in 2005 after completing an initial year of graduate school at Boston University. He is presently the senior development and test engineer in the Power Electronics Group. This group has overall responsibility for projects involving electrical interface, power supplies, digital control and ground support equipment (GSE). Since joining Busek, Mr. Ehrbar has been the lead electrical engineer on the JPL ST7 project at Busek. His work has been closely involved with the design, calibration and testing of the DCIU and PPU electronics. Mr. Ehrbar also provides in-house diagnostic, integration and quality assurance functions for all Busek electronic assemblies. The power electronics department also develops custom GSE electronics for testing of sensitive and flight electronic equipment. Mr. Ehrbar played an integral role in the development of Busek's BPU-600 flight power processor and he assisted in designing the plasma diagnostic instrument suite for the FS-5 payload. He is the principle engineer on the development an auxiliary converter and compact 200W discharge converter.
